Tom McQueen

Tom has always been a passionate and energetic sportsman and has years of experience in both sport-specific and general fitness coaching roles.

Having a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with honours in Clinical Exercise Physiology gives Tom and in-depth understanding of the human body – specifically the adaptation and recovery processes that occur following training. Tom is skilled in injury prevention and rehabilitation, and currently works alongside physiotherapists to both return athletes to elite sport and relieve pain in the knees and backs of ‘weekend warriors’!

Tom’s combination of University knowledge and training with an elite sporting background (Hong Kong Rugby 7’s and 15’s player) gives him an extremely well balanced and science-based approach to training. His experience extends to a vast array of clientele including elite athletes, obese & type II diabetes, youth sport & fitness, hospitalised heart patients, injury management, physically & intellectually disabled patients and social sports men & women.

Tom prides himself on developing detailed and individualised programs that achieve goals you can both see and feel. Don’t believe the fitness gimmicks or waste time training ineffectively. Focus your efforts in the right direction and your results – whatever they may be – are inevitable.
