Football/Soccer

Although at first football (or soccer) may not seem like the most physical sport in the world with all sorts of tumbles and dives at the World Cup 2010, but it is still a very demanding sport.

The average elite football player covers around 10km of ground over the 90-minute period. All the time, these players are chopping and changing directions, they are jogging, then suddenly sprinting, or they are drilling the ball into the net with powerful leg drives, or heading the ball into the goal.

Either way, I think we now recognise that it is a tough sport!

That is where our sport specific conditioning comes in. With our expertise, we can help aspiring or elite football players reach their personal goals and help to improve performance.

Much like other team sports, football training would include speed, agility and quickness training, power training, and strength and conditioning training. These, applied in the right time frames, can lead to significant gains on and off the field.

Whether you’re a defender looking to increase your overall pace and strength to hold off strikers, a midfielder looking to use his/her searing pace to get down the by-line, or a striker looking for raw out-and-out wheels to skin an opposition defender, then we can guarantee we have the workouts and know-how to get you performing even better, faster and stronger than before.
